    Orbs: tiny satellite sites
    that boost your main brand

Real-sounding little publications, AI-named and AI-written, that quietly send authority and referral traffic back to you. Editorial quality. Capped link credit. Not a PBN.

    What's an Orb, exactly?

An Orb is a small, real publication that lives in your wider category — separate domain, separate brand, its own editorial voice — that links back to your main site sparingly and authentically.

Imagine you sell hiking gear. Your Orbs might be Trail Tested (gear reviews), First Light Walks (route guides), and After the Summit (post-trip recovery + nutrition). Three publications, three audiences, all quietly feeding readers and authority back to you.

Amp does the boring bits — naming, manifestos, draft writing, scheduling, publishing, internal linking — and surfaces what's working in your cluster map. You stay in charge of what goes live.

    How Orbs work

From "I should have a blog network" to "I have a blog network" in about an hour.

    01

    Pick an angle

Tell Amp your niche. It suggests 3–5 distinct angles — different audiences, different voices, different topics — that link back to your main brand.

    02

    Spin up the site

Amp names it (real-sounding, never SEO-spam — think 'Trail Tested', not 'Best Hiking Boots'), writes the manifesto, and connects publishing to WordPress.com, self-hosted WP, Substack or Medium.

    03

    Publish on autopilot

Each Orb has its own cadence (1×/wk to 4×/wk depending on tier). Articles are scored, humanised, and link back to your site at most once per post — by design.

    04

    Watch authority grow

Orbs feed real referral traffic and link signals to your main site. The cluster map shows you which Orbs are pulling weight — and which to retire.

Engineered to stay on the right side of guidelines

    "Isn't this just a PBN?"

No. And the platform stops you turning it into one.

    Not a PBN

PBNs hide ownership, repeat templates and over-link. Orbs are publicly owned by Bearworks LTD, each has a distinct identity, and link rules are enforced server-side.

    Capped link credit

Owned-orb backlinks contribute at most 5% of your authority score, with diminishing returns. The platform won't let you over-link your way into a penalty.

    Real editorial quality

Every article is graded with a Publication Quality Score. Anything below the threshold is held for manual review — even on the highest tier.

    One link per article

Server-enforced: maximum one link back to your site per Orb article. The rest of the linking is to authoritative external sources, like a real publication would.

Publishes wherever you want it to

One-click publishing to WordPress.com, self-hosted WordPress, Substack and Medium. Each Orb gets its own activity log, scheduling and re-auth flow.

    Orbs FAQ

What's the difference between an Orb and a PBN?+

Orbs are openly-owned, distinctly-branded sites with editorial-quality content and conservative link rules. A PBN typically masks ownership, reuses templates, and over-links to game search engines — the exact things that get penalised. Orbs are designed to look like a real publication because they are one.

Will I get a manual penalty for using Orbs?+

We've engineered against the patterns Google penalises. Owned-orb credit is capped at 5% of your authority score, links per article are limited to one your-site link, and content is gated behind a quality score before publication. The platform actively prevents over-linking.

How many Orbs should a small business run?+

Most founders start with 2–3. Each Orb takes a different angle on your category, so the audience overlap is light. Don't run 50 — that's the PBN failure mode. Quality over quantity, every time.

    Where do Orbs publish to?+

WordPress.com, self-hosted WordPress, Substack and Medium. The platform handles auth, scheduling, and re-auth when keys expire.

What if an Orb article is bad?+

It doesn't go live. Each article gets a Publication Quality Score. Below the threshold, it's parked in your drafts queue. Above the threshold but on the Reviewed tier, it still requires your one-click approval.

Can I import an Orb I already own?+

Yes — connect any WordPress, Substack or Medium site you control and Amp will treat it as an Orb (with the same link rules and quality gates as a freshly-spun one).
